AFSCME Members Get It Done!

This month, I was reminded of what our union can accomplish when we show up in full force.

We’re Halfway!

This past weekend marked the halfway point for the 90-day Maryland General Assembly legislative session. AFSCME members were a green machine, packing the halls on Monday evening lobby nights, testifying at budget hearings, and showing support for our priority bills.

You can read a full overview of what we've won in this new agreement on our bargaining website here.

From reconciling budgets to preparing meeting documents, Adrienne says, "I enjoy working with a great group of people at the college. We are a real team, and they feel like an extended family to me." It also doesn't hurt that Adrienne will be able to save on tuition next year when her daughter begins her classes at the college.
