Stand up for Safe Staffing: Hear Management Testify to the Legislature

It's time to stand together and fight for safe staffing levels by winning safer working conditions and more competitive compensation packages.

BECAUSE SO FAR HOGAN'S RESPONSE TO THE STAFFING CRISIS IS A PAY CUT

In the last month, Governor Hogan has cut $65 million in funding for raises for state employees from the budget. We need to come together during the Legislative Session to work with our allies in the Legislature to fence off the money for this 3% COLA and then urge Governor Hogan to spend it before July.

We are planning to pack the room for two upcoming Hearings where the Department of Budget and Management will be testifying directly in front of the Legislature about Personnel. This is our chance to stand up and pack the room with concerned state employees AND voters.

RSVP NOW for a full day of activity and hearing at 1PM:

We will have transportation leaving from our office in Baltimore at 190 W. Ostend St as well as snacks and lunch during the day. Make sure your co-workers are updated about the hearings and download this bulletin board flier and count on me:
