In accordance with the convention call sent by Secretary-Treasurer Cherrish Vick, below are the results of the election for the Executive Board held on Friday, October 30th at the 2020 AFSCME Biennial Convention. Nominations for at-large, regional and unit positions were held in accordance with the Constitution and the report of results was submitted by the Election Committee and approved by the delegates of the Convention.

Congratulations to President Patrick Moran and the AFSCME Council 3 Executive Board listed below:

President Patrick Moran said “It is an honor for me and my slate to be re-elected to serve another term on behalf of public employees in Maryland.  Our State and University workers have some of the toughest jobs out there.  Every day they have shown up during the pandemic and together we have fought and won PPE, Testing, and other safety measures for our members.  Our members are also charged to ensure the virus is contained so it doesn’t afflict the greater community.  Our members have elected officers that have pledged to go toe to toe with the Governor, Chancellor, and University Presidents to ensure frontline workers serving Maryland have the tools to do their work, are protected, and are kept whole.”
