State Bargaining

As a state worker, you are the expert in what resources and support you need to best do your job. Contract negotiations are great opportunities for members like you to help determine our priorities.

Please note you must be a dues-paying member to have a voice in our bargaining priorities. If you aren’t a member yet, sign up here.

Here are a few ways you can get involved in our contract negotiations with the State this year:

Attend the November State Bargaining Town Hall.

Join us on Wednesday, November 29 from 7 PM to 8 PM for a virtual State Bargaining Town Hall. We'll cover important updates on state bargaining.

Read our bargaining updates.

Once bargaining with the State begins, you will be able to read updates from our bargaining sessions on our bargaining website here.

Only members will be emailed the password that is needed to read the updates.

Take our bargaining survey.

Help determine our priorities as we meet with the State by completing our bargaining survey. Your responses to this survey will be reviewed by members of the AFSCME State Bargaining Team and AFSCME representatives to inform our contract proposals and set priorities for negotiations.
