As a state worker, you are the expert in what resources and support you need to best do your job. Contract negotiations are great opportunities for members like you to help determine our priorities.
Please note you must be a dues-paying member to have a voice in our bargaining priorities. If you aren’t a member yet, sign up here.
Here are a few ways you can get involved in our contract negotiations with the State this year:
Take our bargaining survey.
Help determine our priorities as we meet with the State by completing our bargaining survey. Your responses to this survey will be reviewed by members of the AFSCME State Bargaining Team and AFSCME representatives to inform our contract proposals and set priorities for negotiations.

Please complete this survey no later than September 12, 2023. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Submit a contract proposal/idea.
Let us know what contract proposals or ideas you'd like to see discussed in our negotiations with the State this year.
Submit a contract proposal/idea >>
Please submit proposal ideas by Friday, October 20. We will follow up with you if we have clarifying questions or if your concern can be handled through labor-management committee meetings or through other avenues.
